Project Summary
VCU Health is constructing a new 16-story, 603,040-square-foot outpatient facility with an attached 472,684-square-foot parking deck (1,000 parking spaces) on the Richmond campus of Virginia Commonwealth University. This space is intended to become a hub for comprehensive outpatient healthcare. HDR and Hourigan Construction are design-build partners on the project’s Building Team that also includes Ventana, which will design, manufacture, and install the building’s exterior wall systems, whose skin will consist of punched openings, flat curtainwall, saw-toothed curtainwall, and glass guardrails.
BPA is the Building Envelope Commissioning Agent for this $350 million project.
Construction completion is projected to be June 2020.
